(LaPresse) – Health precautions for the fire at the BRT warehouse on Via Don Giovanni Minzoni alla Bovisa in Milan have been extended to a maximum radius of 2 kilometers for the entire day today, Thursday, July 9. Following initial air quality analyses conducted by ARPA Lombardia near the fire, local residents are being asked “to avoid staying outdoors, to keep windows closed, to avoid using vegetables grown on balconies or in vegetable gardens, and to avoid children using outdoor green spaces in nurseries, preschools, and public or private parks,” according to a statement from the City of Milan. The measures remain valid on Thursday “until further investigations by ARPA and/or communications from the Municipality of Milan at the direction of the health authority.”
