Former Ilva: trade unions summoned to Palazzo Chigi on 28 July

Rome, 9 July (LaPresse) – The trade unions have been summoned to Palazzo Chigi regarding the former Ilva dispute on 28 July at 11.00. This has been reported by trade union sources. Yesterday, the metalworkers’ unions had sent an urgent request for a meeting of the Ex Ilva Round Table at Palazzo Chigi, denouncing “the serious delay in fulfilling the commitments made by the Government at the meeting on 5 March”; failing that, they would have convened the meeting themselves.
