US forward Christian Pulisic fractured his right leg during the defeat to Belgium in the round of 16 and will be sidelined for several weeks. A source told the Associated Press that Pulisic has suffered a bone contusion and a microfracture of the tibia and fibula. Pulisic is expected to resume training before Milan’s first Serie A match against Torino on 23 August. Pulisic failed to score at the World Cup, missing one of the USA’s five matches due to a calf injury and being substituted early in two others.
