Milan, 9 July (LaPresse) – Bad news for Milan from the World Cup. US forward Christian Pulisic fractured his right leg during the defeat to Belgium in the round of 16 and will be sidelined for several weeks. A source told the Associated Press that Pulisic has suffered a bone contusion and a microfracture of the tibia and fibula. Pulisic is expected to resume training before Milan’s first Serie A match against Torino on 23 August. Pulisic failed to score at the World Cup, missing one of the USA’s five matches due to a calf injury and being substituted early in two others.
