Milan, 9 July (LaPresse) – The Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office, headed by Marcello Viola, has opened an investigation into arson in connection with the fire that broke out late yesterday afternoon at the BRT depot in Via Don Giovanni Minzoni, in the Bovisa district. The report containing the findings of the fire investigation has now been received by the Public Prosecutor’s Office. The investigation, coordinated by Viola himself and by Paolo Storari, a public prosecutor with the Anti-Mafia Directorate (DDA), aims to establish the causes of the fire and to trace the whereabouts of the parcels – at least 500 of them – which were inside the lorry engulfed by the flames that erupted from one of the parcels loaded onto the vehicle.
