Milan, 10 July (LaPresse/AP) – FIFA has put nearly 1,200 second-tier tickets on sale at a price of $7,380 for the World Cup final on 19 July at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The federation’s website for last-minute ticket sales, which at times indicated the match was sold out, now shows 1,178 seats available in five sections on the upper tier along the touchlines. FIFA is also selling 68 first-category tickets in the front row of the lower tier at prices ranging from $19,995 to $32,970. FIFA did not immediately respond to a request for clarification as to why these additional tickets had become available.
