Washington (US), 10 July (LaPresse) – Two transgender girls, among the first to challenge President Trump’s executive order to ‘keep men out of women’s sports’, have withdrawn their lawsuit filed in New Hampshire, citing the recent Supreme Court ruling which upheld state bans on transgender athletes participating in women’s sports. “This case has always been about two brave young women who simply wanted the same opportunities as their peers to participate in school life,” their lawyer, Chris Erchull, said in a statement. “Their willingness to stand up to extraordinary hostility has highlighted the human cost of laws that target transgender young people,” the lawyer said.
