Catania: Man kills brother with cleaver blows after argument

Milan, July 11 (LaPresse) – A fight between brothers ended in bloodshed this morning on the Riposto seafront in the province of Catania, on Via Cafiero. The two brothers, both in their sixties, own a fishmonger’s shop, and after an argument, one of them struck the other brother in the neck with a cleaver, causing profuse bleeding. The man was taken to the hospital where he died. The attacker, a drug addict and a convicted felon, was arrested by Carabinieri from the Riposto station. They are continuing their investigation while awaiting the reconstruction of the entire incident and forwarding the report to the Catania Public Prosecutor’s Office.
