Rome, July 11 (LaPresse) – Marc Marquez claimed pole position for the German Grand Prix, the eleventh round of the MotoGP World Championship. The Ducati rider once again proved to be the king of the Sachsenring by also setting a new lap record. With a time of 1:19.041, he finished ahead of his brother Alex (Gresini Ducati) and Di Giannantonio (VR46 Ducati). On the second row are the Trackhouse Aprilias of Fernandez and Ogura, followed by Quartararo. Marco Bezzecchi was eighth ahead of Jorge Martin, but Bezzecchi’s condition remains to be assessed after another crash. The Aprilia rider is complaining of problems with his left arm and will undergo all the necessary medical examinations. Pecco Bagnaia qualified eleventh.
