Rome, 11 July (LaPresse) – At the Sachsenring circuit in Germany, where he has secured nine pole positions in his career, Marc Marquez claimed victory in the German Grand Prix sprint race, the fourth of the season. The Ducati rider finished ahead of his brother Alex, who rides for Ducati Gresini, with Fabio Di Giannantonio third on the VR46 Ducati. Ai Ogura finished fourth, followed by Raul Fernandez, World Championship leader Jorge Martin and Pecco Bagnaia. Bezzecchi was absent, having fractured his collarbone in qualifying; he is due to undergo surgery in Italy on Sunday. Martin remains top of the standings, 11 points ahead of Bez and 13 points ahead of Di Giannantonio. The race takes place on Sunday at 2.00 pm.
