Milan, 11 July (LaPresse) – Four Israeli settlers have been arrested on charges of attacking a CNN television crew near the town of Sinjil in the West Bank. Israeli police say they received a report from several journalists who, whilst travelling by car near Sinjil, were stopped by a number of suspects who “caused damage”. Israeli soldiers were dispatched to the scene, allowed the journalists to pass and arrested four suspects. This was reported by The Times of Israel. “During a search of the vehicle, sticks and a knife were seized,” the police said. “The Israeli police and the Israel Defence Forces take any act of violence or damage to property extremely seriously, particularly when it involves members of the media carrying out their work.”
