Rome, 11 July (LaPresse) – Paolo Maldini has said yes to the Azzurri. The former Milan and Italy defender will take on the role of technical director. This has been confirmed to LaPresse by FIGC president Giovanni Malagò. Joining the former Rossonero will be the Brazilian Leonardo, a trusted confidant of Maldini’s, who will serve as an adviser. Together with Malagò, the two will be tasked with identifying the new Italy manager.
