Ranucci attack: La Russa reiterates Schlein’s anti-government remarks: “How embarrassing.”

Rome, July 12. (LaPresse) – The President of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, is calling into question the secretary of the Democratic Party Elly Schlein in the days when the political controversy is mounting around the case linked to the attack on the host of Report, Sigfrido Ranucci, and the subsequent decision by RAI to suspend reruns of the program as a precaution. La Russa relaunched Schlein’s speech at the PSE congress in Amsterdam on social media, in which he expressed solidarity with Ranucci. “Democracy is at risk, free speech is at risk when the far right is in government”, said the Democratic secretary.
