Ranucci attack: TV presenter’s lawyer files defamation complaint

Rome, 13 July (LaPresse) – In relation to “the circulation of statements, press articles, conjectures and insinuations which, through explicit allusions, have transformed the victim of the serious attack into its alleged beneficiary, through expressions asserting or suggesting a ‘staged attack’ and other similar formulations, as well as the resulting benefits – the human and professional repercussions of which are of unprecedented severity – Dr Sigfrido Ranucci has lodged a complaint and brought legal proceedings for aggravated defamation and other offences”.
