Milan, 15 July (LaPresse) – The Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office has filed a request to dismiss the case concerning the investigation into Gianluca Rocchi, a former referee appointing officer, for complicity in sports fraud in relation to four matches. A request has been made to the investigating magistrate to dismiss the case on the grounds of alleged sports fraud, and the part relating to the ‘interference’ with the VAR has been removed. The case files have been forwarded to the CONI General Sports Prosecutor’s Office and the FGCI Federal Prosecutor’s Office for matters falling within their respective jurisdictions.
