Lucca, 16 July (LaPresse) – The woman who had been reported missing the previous day in Vecchiano, in the province of Pisa, was found dead yesterday afternoon. The Pisa Fire Brigade was called out at 5.30 pm on Wednesday to the municipality of Vecchiano, in the Marina di Vecchiano area (province of Pisa), to search for a missing woman who had not returned home. The Missing Person Search Plan was immediately implemented under the coordination of the Prefecture of Pisa, with the deployment of a ground fire brigade team, TAS (Topography Applied to Rescue) personnel and SAPR (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) personnel. The Dedalo system was used to track the woman’s mobile phone via mobile phone masts, which located her late in the evening; sadly, she was found to have died. The State Police are conducting the investigation.
