Lucca, 17 July (LaPresse) – A fatal accident occurred yesterday evening at around 7 pm on the Monte Amiata road, in the San Bastiano area, in the municipality of Santa Flora, in the province of Grosseto. The collision involved a lorry and a motorbike. On arriving at the scene, the 118 emergency services could only confirm the death of a 35-year-old man. Emergency services were mobilised at the scene, with ambulances from Castel del Piano, India di Santa Fiora and Piancastagniaio, as well as the Pegaso1 air ambulance. The air ambulance mission was called off before landing, once the 35-year-old’s death had been confirmed. The police also attended the scene to carry out an investigation.
