Frankfurt (Germany), 18 July (LaPresse) – Hamid Reza Moghaddamfar, spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, has stated that the consequences of the military pressure exerted by the United States on Tehran – both at sea and economically – would have repercussions on the energy and economic sectors, not only in the US but also in European countries. The Iranian news agency Tasnim, as reported by Al Jazeera, stated that Moghaddamfar also described the Strait of Hormuz and the Strait of Bab el-Mandeb as “two important and strategic chokepoints in regional and global balances”, capable of influencing global dynamics relating to energy, trade and security.
