Rome, 20 July (LaPresse) – Following the huge success of *Max Forever: The Golden Years – Stadiums 2026*, which saw Max Pezzali take to the stage at Italy’s most prestigious stadiums, selling over 680,000 tickets across his 15 shows (the best-selling tour of 2026), the artist’s live tour continues with a new chapter. From December, Max Pezzali will return to reconnect with his audience in Italian sports arenas with *Max Forever – Stessa Storia Stesso Posto Stesso Bar*, a new show that will bring Pezzali’s songs back to indoor venues. “The new challenge will be to turn these arenas into the biggest provincial bars in Italy – perhaps in Europe, perhaps even in the world! In the 1990s, socialising was still entirely ‘analogue’: people actually met up in provincial bars; there was a strong need for human connection, for eye contact, for non-verbal communication. Bars had one fundamental characteristic: they were deeply democratic places. There was no such thing as a bar just for punks, metalheads or people who thought like you: we all gathered in the same place, learnt to listen to different points of view and to get on with people who had completely different experiences. Today, social media tends to follow the opposite logic: algorithms prioritise content that aligns with your preferences, reinforce your beliefs and limit your exposure to alternative viewpoints. That’s why I want to bring that particular atmosphere back to the stage: because the provincial bar, even before it was a place, was a school of human relationships,” says Pezzali. The tour, set to kick off at the end of 2026, has today been expanded with new dates: the tour will begin in Pesaro, where, in addition to the shows on 18 December and 19 December 2026 (already sold out), a new date has been added at the Vitrifrigo Arena on 16 December 2026. This is followed by the Milan residency at the Unipol Dome Milano Santa Giulia with eight shows: the first three dates – 22, 23 and 26 December 2026 – are already sold out, followed by shows on 27, 29 and 30 December 2026 and on 3 and 4 January 2027. Rome has today added two further dates in January 2027: the new shows, scheduled for 13 and 14 January at the Palazzo dello Sport, join the eight already announced on the programme – on 16 (sold out), 17 (sold out), 19 (sold out), 20 (sold out), 22 (sold out), 23 (sold out), 25 and 26 January 2027. After Rome, Max will head to Bologna for two dates at the Unipol Arena on 5 and 6 February 2027, the latter of which is already sold out; and immediately afterwards to Florence, with four shows at the Mandela Forum: the 21 and 22 February 2027 dates are already sold out, and today’s announcement adds shows on 24 and 25 February 2027. The tour then continues to Turin, where three shows are scheduled at the Inalpi Arena: 11 March, 13 March (sold out) and 14 March 2027.
