Milan local elections, Romeo: ‘If La Russa chooses a mayor, we’ll organise dinners for the Lega candidate in the regional elections’

Milan, 20 July (LaPresse) – “If President La Russa organises lunches to select the candidate for mayor of Milan and chooses Lupi, then we will organise dinners to select the candidate for president of the Lombardy Region, who will certainly be from the Lega.” This was the comment made to LaPresse by Massimiliano Romeo, secretary of the Lega Lombarda and the Carroccio’s Senate group leader, in response to the lunch organised by the President of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, with a number of potential centre-right mayoral candidates for the local elections in Milan.
