Bologna: ‘Murderers’ chants at a rally in support of Fakir: tensions and objects thrown

Milan, 20 July (LaPresse) – Tensions flared at the protest over the death of Abderrahim Fakir in Bologna. From Piazza Nettuno, chants of ‘Murderers! Murderers!’ had already begun to rise whilst the police were intervening; these chants were repeated by some protesters in front of the police officers called in to guard the Police Headquarters and the Prefecture. Some demonstrators clashed with the police and threw objects at the officers, who responded by using water cannons.
