Frankfurt (Germany), 21 July (LaPresse) – The United States has breached the commitments it made in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Iran, despite the fact that the results achieved by Tehran in the negotiations have “exceeded expectations”. This was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, as reported by Al Jazeera. “In the negotiations, we proceeded step by step, and our main position was the opening of the Strait of Hormuz to oil exports and other vital issues, but the other party has breached the agreement,” Pezeshkian said whilst speaking at the National Industry and Mining Day. “The results achieved by the Islamic Republic in this process have far exceeded expectations, and we have managed to resolve several issues in a short space of time,” he added. The Iranian president also reported that, during private meetings, Supreme Leader Mojitaba Khamenei had reiterated to him the need to put an end to the situation of “neither war nor peace” in which the country finds itself.
