Rome, 22 July (LaPresse) – A 16-year-old boy, a resident of Stradella in the province of Pavia, died yesterday evening following a road accident in the Cardazzo area, within the municipality of Bosnasco. According to initial reports, the young man was riding a scooter when he was struck by a car driven by a 73-year-old man, a resident of Bosnasco. According to preliminary investigations, the scooter on which the teenager was travelling was found to be without lights, a helmet, a number plate or insurance cover. Emergency services attended the scene, but there was nothing that could be done to save the 16-year-old. The Carabinieri from the Stradella station have launched an investigation to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the accident and determine who, if anyone, was at fault.
