Trump specified that the U.S. response would be triggered in the event of attacks carried out with “missiles, rockets, drones, or any other device or weapon” against vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. “The targets will also include bridges or power plants located near or within the capital, Tehran,” the U.S. president added.
