Turin, 22 July (LaPresse) – In today’s telephone conversation, the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, and the UK Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, “agreed on the need to make every effort to de-escalate tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, with particular reference to the issue of freedom of navigation, and reaffirmed their determination to continue supporting Ukraine, working towards a just and lasting peace”. This is according to a statement from Palazzo Chigi.
