Rome, 23 July (LaPresse) – The name of the next manager of the French national team will be officially announced next Tuesday, 28 July, at 11.00. The French Football Federation (FFF) has announced a press conference to confirm Zinédine Zidane as Didier Deschamps’ successor. Zidane is expected to spend the month of August finalising his coaching staff, before officially taking up the post on 1 September, as stipulated in the contracts signed with the French Football Federation. The 1998 World Cup winner’s debut as national team manager is scheduled for the Nations League match against Turkey on 25 September.
