This is a clip from the bodycam footage of one of the two officers who responded on Sunday 19 July in the Pilastro district of Bologna, shown exclusively on Tg1. The footage shows Fakir falling to the ground after contact with the person wearing the white T-shirt: at that point, the officers appear to begin restraining him. The bodycam footage has been handed over to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, along with another clip showing paramedics performing CPR on Fakir, whose wrists and feet are bound.” ‘There is a moment of contact with other people who were standing near a car and who came into contact with him: at this point, it is clear that the police officers had to intervene and resolve the situation,’ the officers’ lawyer, Gabriele Bordoni, told Tg1.
