Milan, 24 July (LaPresse) – In France, the Gironde prefecture has ordered the evacuation of the entire Cap Ferret peninsula due to the fire that broke out on Wednesday to the north of the Arcachon basin, which doubled in size overnight and now covers an area of over 8,700 hectares. The evacuation is taking place by land via the RD106, as well as by sea shuttle.
