Rome, 24 July (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz have announced that they have instructed the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) to speed up the legalisation of unauthorised outposts and farms in the West Bank and to establish new ones, following recent clashes in the Nablus area. This was reported by Haaretz. At the conclusion of the meeting of the restricted security cabinet, Netanyahu and Katz also announced that they had ordered the demolition of the home of the Palestinian suspected of shooting dead the Israeli settler Benaiah Mlat, and had instructed the army to conduct “an intensive operation” in Palestinian villages considered to be strongholds of armed groups.
