Police: ‘One or more people got out of a van and drove into the crowd in Berlin’

Berlin (Germany), 26 July (LaPresse/AP) – The Berlin police and public prosecutor’s office have appealed for help in tracking down the alleged perpetrator of last night’s van attack on the crowd at the Pride parade in the German capital, a 21-year-old identified as Abdul B. According to the authorities, the man injured several people – one of whom later died – whilst the vehicle was in motion, and one or more people are believed to have then got out of the vehicle. They added that several people were also reportedly stabbed.
