Milan, 26 July (LaPresse) – “No Tav as terrorists. Faced with a war-like toll of over 140 law enforcement officers injured in the No Tav assault, the Lega is reviving the proposal – historically supported by some law enforcement unions – to introduce the offence of street terrorism. What took place in Val Susa was a premeditated, subversive attack against men and women in uniform, an unacceptable act of thuggery which we hope will finally lead the relevant authorities to classify it, given its nature and aggressiveness, as a terrorist offence.” So reads a statement from the Lega.
