Rome, 27 July (LaPresse) – “Back home, the sky is still the same. Different horizons, but all under the same sky. Sometimes we don’t think about it, but the only truly precious thing we have is time, which is often right on the dot in making us realise many things too late. Everyone’s happy, everyone’s unhappy, everyone’s alive.” Fedez wrote this on Instagram following his hospitalisation last week. “When you’re in hospital waiting for your final blood transfusion, you feel yourself faltering; you think your time is running out, or something like that. Just as another life is beginning – that of your young son,” the rapper continues. “Over the last few days, the fear of not being able to hold my loved ones – my children – in my arms again has made me see the sky in a different light. Yet again. It’s not what you look at, but what you see. My body has raised its hand for the umpteenth time and told me ‘stop’. Now the doctors are telling me the same, and that’s what I’ll do. But without despair – quite the opposite. I feel lucky once again to be under this sky. We’ll make up for everything I’m forced to put on hold. Thank goodness.”
