Rome, 27 July (LaPresse) – After less than two weeks, Paolo Maldini and Leonardo have resigned from their roles as technical director and advisor to the national team. This was confirmed by the president of the LND, Giancarlo Abete: “They have informed us of their intention to resign. Now we have to start from scratch. We are not used to these situations. We need to start afresh with a serious plan. No names have yet been put forward for the new head coach.”
