Rome, 28 July (LaPresse) – “We have urged the other EU countries to provide stronger support for the Aspides mission because it is primarily the Italians and the Greeks who are shouldering the burden of this operation”, which has enabled hundreds of merchant ships to pass through the Red Sea. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani during a hearing on the outcomes of the NATO summit held in Ankara on 7–8 July before the joint Foreign Affairs and Defence Committees of the Chamber of Deputies and the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee of the Senate.
