Milan, Jul. 29 (LaPresse) – AC Milan announces that it has permanently acquired the sporting rights of footballer Sankhoun Diawara from Estac Troyes, with a contract running until June 30, 2031, with an option to extend the agreement. Born in Paris on January 13, 2006, Diawara developed his football career in France in the youth academies of FC Solitaires Paris and CA Paris-Charenton before joining Troyes’ academy in 2020. After completing his development at the French club, he made his first-team debut in November 2024 in the Coupe de France. The following season, he made 17 appearances between league and domestic cup competitions, contributing to Troyes’ promotion to Ligue 1 and the club’s Ligue 2 title victory, quickly emerging as one of the most promising young defenders in the league. A left-footed defender, Diawara combines technical ability, physical strength and personality, qualities that make him a player with great potential, already a protagonist in French professional football and ready to continue his development in the Rossoneri shirt.
