Fakir’s death: 12 people under investigation by the Bologna Public Prosecutor’s Office over clashes

Rome, 29 July (LaPresse) – Resisting a public official, making false statements and causing damage are the charges brought on various grounds by the Bologna Public Prosecutor’s Office against the twelve individuals under investigation for the clashes between demonstrators and the police that took place on the evening of 20 July in the city during the protest over the death of Abderrahim Fakir, the 42-year-old who died the previous day whilst in police custody. Among those under investigation is a 20-year-old who was arrested that evening and released the following day, subject to a ban on entering the Metropolitan City of Bologna.
