Rome, 29 July (LaPresse) – “We have signed the contract for the healthcare sector – that is, for all non-managerial staff, numbering around 590,000 people. This contract comes just nine months after the last one was signed. The one we are signing now covers the 25–27 period and comes nine months after the signing of the previous contract, the 22–24 contract, which we signed nine months ago.” This was announced by the Minister for the Public Administration, Paolo Zangrillo, speaking to reporters in the Senate on the sidelines of the Forza Italia meeting. “The increases amount to an average of 209 euros per month, plus around 1,300 in arrears as a general average. For nurses, the figure is slightly higher: €235, with around €2,300 in back pay. The good news is that with this signing, we are concluding the entire 2025–2027 round for all sectors of the public administration. Never before in the history of the Republic has a collective bargaining round been concluded a year and a half ahead of its expiry date,” he concluded.
