This is according to the Financial Times, which reports that the agreement emerged following the latest meeting between Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky in Washington. In private conversations, the Ukrainian president attributed the US leader’s change of heart on the war and Ukraine’s prospects to months of direct discussions between their advisers. The Financial Times also points out that Trump has become more critical of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s intransigence and more supportive of Kyiv’s military successes.
