EU, Mattarella: “Common defence is not a threat; it aims not at war but at peace”

The approach and strategy I have just outlined make it clear that its implementation does not pose a threat to anyone, nor is it aimed at war: on the contrary, it is a means of ensuring peace.” So said the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, speaking at the Quirinale during the presentation of the Ventaglio by the Parliamentary Press Association.
