Don Mazzi, Roby Facchinetti at the funeral chapel: “Special people should not die”

Milan, Aug. 2 (LaPresse) – Tributes for Don Antonio Mazzi continue at the headquarters of the Exodus Community in Milan’s Parco Lambro, where the funeral chapel was set up yesterday. Friends, collaborators, former community members and citizens paid tribute to the founder of Exodus, who died on Friday at the age of 96. Among the visitors was also singer Roby Facchinetti. “People who are so special should never die,” said the Poohs’ frontman. “If you think about how many young people have passed through Exodus, they made it thanks to him. Others perhaps did not, but his role was truly unique, and we hope that everything he left behind and planted can continue as before and, why not, perhaps even better than before.”
