According to Russian Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, a series of drone and missile strikes has damaged homes, vehicles and power lines in several neighbourhoods of Belgorod. Rescue workers are searching for people feared to be trapped under the rubble. Ukraine has not commented on the attacks. This is the third consecutive day that Ukraine has struck the region, leaving thousands of people without electricity. Ukraine has drastically increased the number of attacks on Russian oil refineries in recent months, causing fuel shortages and price rises in some parts of the country. The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is now in its fourth year.
