Turin, 3 Aug. (LaPresse) – Tadej Pogacar will be at the start of the 2026 Vuelta a España. The official confirmation – which had been on the cards following the Slovenian’s victory in the Tour de France – came alongside the announcement by UAE Team Emirates of the eight riders who will take part in the Spanish race, which starts in Monte Carlo on 22 August. For the Slovenian champion, this marks a return to the Vuelta following his 2019 outing, when – on his debut in a Grand Tour at the age of just 20 – he finished third.
