Iran, Trump: “Talks with Tehran are underway, this is their last opportunity”

Washington (USA), Aug. 3 (LaPresse) – Despite statements from Tehran’s leadership, “talks are underway.” Donald Trump said this while speaking to reporters in the Oval Office. “Yesterday we were about to hit them hard, we were ready,” the president said, adding that he had received phone calls from the Iranian leadership itself, as well as from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, urging a return to diplomacy. But, he added, “this is their last opportunity to sign a good agreement.”
