The Italian pair clinched the title with a flawless final performance, scoring 308.07 points to finish ahead of Ukraine and Germany. For Chiara Pellacani, this is her fifth gold medal of the Paris Championships: the 23-year-old from Rome has swept the board following her victories in the team event, the mixed synchronised event with Matteo Santoro, the 1-metre springboard and the women’s individual 3-metre springboard.
