(LaPresse) – According to a report by IranWire, a website close to the Iranian opposition, Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has not met with any member of the Tehran government since the joint US-Israeli attacks that killed his father and predecessor, Ali Khamenei. The source cites two anonymous sources close to President Masoud Pezeshkian’s administration who stated that “rumours are circulating in the highest echelons of the regime that Khamenei is in an extremely critical condition and could die at any moment”. One of the sources added: “We would not be surprised if we were soon to hear news of his martyrdom”.
