(LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the recently appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi, reported to him today regarding the military situation in Donetsk. In a social media post, he said they had reached “an agreement on how to strengthen” Ukraine’s defenses in that area. “We discussed measures related to long-term sanctions against Russia for the war. Good results have been achieved regarding the Yaroslavsk refinery. We continue operations in this regard,” the post reads, “Mykhailo also reported on his work on anti-ballistic defense, particularly his contacts with the American side. We are working at all levels to obtain the air defense missile packages.”
