Rome, 8 August (LaPresse) – A drone, which entered from Romania, exploded today at 8.10 am on Bulgarian territory, near a station on a cross-border gas pipeline. Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev announced this at a press conference following an extraordinary meeting of the Security Council, according to Bulgarian media reports. The drone crashed into a field of sunflowers after penetrating 100 metres into Bulgarian territory. It exploded 1,000 metres from the Bulgarian compressor station and 200 metres from the Romanian one on the Trans-Balkan gas pipeline.
