The Blues opened the scoring at the end of the first half with a header from Joao Pedro, who was left completely unmarked in the area by the Rossoneri defence. Early in the second half came the London side’s second goal, again from Joao Pedro, with a delicate touch from close range following a precise cross from Pedro Neto. Shortly afterwards came the third, with a volley from outside the area by Caicedo.
