Turin, 9 Aug. (LaPresse) – An Aprilia one-two-three in the British Grand Prix, part of the MotoGP class. Raúl Fernández triumphed with the Trackhouse team, taking the lead at the start and then dominating the race from the first to the last lap. Also on the podium was world championship leader Jorge Martin, finishing second ahead of the other factory Aprilia ridden by Marco Bezzecchi, who, in tricky conditions, defended third place from the challenge of Alex Marquez’s Gresini Ducati, which finished fourth and was the best of the non-Aprilia bikes. Fernandez returns to winning ways following his triumph in Australia in 2025. Next came Pedro Acosta’s KTM, fifth ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio’s VR46 Ducati. Marc Márquez was only seventh, still struggling after finishing ninth in yesterday’s sprint race. Luca Marini also made the top ten, finishing ninth on his Honda. Pecco Bagnaia crashed out; he never found his rhythm and was out of the points before being forced to retire.
