I’m tired, I can’t take it any more, but it’s great – it was worth it.” So said Marco Bezzecchi to Sky Sport after securing third place in the British Grand Prix. “I wanted it so badly, I couldn’t give up, I was prepared to do anything,” added the Aprilia rider, who had undergone two operations during the summer break following his crash at the German Grand Prix. “It was brilliant; I had a lot of fun.” Bezzecchi admitted that “psychologically, it wasn’t easy. Since the last race before the crash, you’ve been out of action because you’ve been injured; a lot goes through your mind and it stays with you for the whole time you’re sidelined,” he concluded. “I had so many doubts.”
