Rome, 9 Aug. (LaPresse) – A WHO humanitarian warehouse in Dnipro, Ukraine, has been hit and destroyed. The Organisation itself reported this on X. At present, it is explained, there are no reports of casualties. The warehouse contained humanitarian medical supplies intended for frontline healthcare facilities, mainly emergency medical supplies from the WHO. “I will never tire of repeating this: attacks on healthcare facilities must stop, otherwise people will be deprived of life-saving medical care,” said the UN Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, on X. “Even wars have rules. One of these is that health must be protected,” he added.
